La Reserva Ecológica Costanera Sur

Today Charlotte and I went the Natural Park, or La Reserva Ecológica Costanera Sur, which is in Buenos Aires, not too far away from our school.

First we crossed this interesting bridge.
I think it looks like a giant harp and I think someone should find a way to play it.
We were walking on a sidewalk close to the reserve and there were wild parrots!Right outside the park.Woo!

Mr. Bicycler,
Period of mating.
Respect the path restrictions.

Water!
There was a lot of construction debris near the water. It was neat though, because there were spots where all of the brick and concrete was eroded into sand. Nature can even take our trash and make it pretty.
Drift wood!
Dead Fish.

Climbing back up.
The skyscrapers were kind of disheartening, but it was still pretty. It was a nice break to get out of the city for a few hours.
This tree was spiky!
Some strange pods on a tree. They looked like corn. Or larva.

:(

A Big Bird.

The best part of the entire thing: WILD GUINEA PIGS!!!
They were afraid of people, so we couldn't get close, but we saw three on our walk through the reserve!! They are pretty fast! haha
